If you're talking about G1A (self performance), and there are @ least 3 episodes of a "3" then code it a 3. If its G1B (ADL support provided) that day shift is coding a "3" then  it is a 3, as the RAI states to code  for the max amt of assistance in that section. Look at the tree on page 3-90 of RAI manual as it may help clarify the issue..

How would you code staff performance for bed mobility if night and evening shifts coded it as 2 for 1 staff support and day shift coded it a 3?  I have read the manual and did not see anything relatively close to my scenario.  Thanks.
