We use to be able to use anytime over 80 hrs for comp time. At one time I had 300 hrs. It was great I never used my vacation or holiday time. This came to a stop sometime around oct 2003. There is legislation or a bill, something that is attempting to change d/t administrative staff are being abused that is up and coming if I am not mistaken. Now, w/time over 8ohrs we get time and half. Believe me this kills them, and it is approved directly by our owner. Family owned facility. I just completed working 96 hrs, and that was taking new years day off, which I dearly paid for. My husband doesn't understand why I just can't take off at will, or when I am so exhausted.
