Well,  I may not be the one to answer, but I am going to answer.   I just had my assistant "let go"  because my facility is "overstaffed" in the rnac position.  So now I'm it for 99 residents.  I've had an assistant for 5 years.  Now I have to deal with all of it by myself.  It's going to be a major adjustment.  Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
I'm very nervous about this.

I am interested in knowing the status of many of the RNACs out there- are there more RNACs salaried or paid on an hourly basis?  I have found that the salaried RNACs have more flexibility of their time to get their work but I was wondering if this group could share some of their feelings and experiences and the pros and cons of either?  Thanks for any informaton you can share.
