We do sig changes, and
not an annual. What would be the justification for doing annual so frequently,
if there is a change in the resident it would warrant a sig change and
documentation is available to back you up. I would think doing so many annuals
on someone with be a red flag during an UMR audit.
-----Original Message-----This question is for case mix states - recently had a consultant say that it was OK to do annual assessments every 3 months (not sig changes) instead of quarterlies in order to capture a higher case mix. Does anyone actually do this? and what are your thoughts on this?
