When you have to restart the Medicare assessment schedule, you have started
a new Medicare stay. Even though it was just a few days they were discharged
and then readmitted to Medicare. Since it is a "new stay" you would start
day one and do section T for the first 15 days of this particular Medicare
stay.

Good morning, we have a resident adm 12/31/03, on medicare and cut from
therapy 1/30/04 then put back on ot 2/2/04. I re-started the assessments
with the 5 day but what do I put for section T? I don't think it should be
done as the manual states the first 14 days of stay. I just want to make
sure that I am correct.
