but what if you don't know if you will even get another referral for that
patient to return...we are hospital based and never know for sure if they
will return or be refereed back when they are discharged to acute care.

Should code as "discharge-return anticipated" .  Bedholds do not impact the
way you code the discharge tracking forms.

A patient was admitted to the facility on 1/21 and transferred to the
hospital on 2/6.She was not eligible for bed hold(not in facility 30
