It depends on state practice acts. In PA therapists can write telephone
orders or verbal orders.

Subject: THERAPY ORDERS

Does anyone have anything in writing or know a link that says whether
therapists can write therapy orders or not? I thought they could not write
the orders, and that nursing had to do it. Thanks in advance.
