I guess first of
all I would try to talk to her to find out just exactly what has happened to
cause her sudden desire to leave. Usually there is something that
precipitates it & if you can find out what it is you can usually work it
out. Otherwise I think it would be a good idea to involve both the doctor
& the Ombudsman. In addition, I would make sure to inform her that if
she leaves it would be against medical advice & that is something happened
because of it, insurance might not cover it. This sometimes works when
nothing else does.
