i WAS TAUGT TO CROSS SECTION THE RESIDENT LEVEL QUALITY INDICATOR SUMMARY. We do this and almost always can pick who they will focus on. Just take a marker and mark down each collumn that is a sentinel event and any your QI indicator profile shows to be aproblem. Then mark the row with a residents name that show high totals. We usually mark any resident with a total of 5 or more. Then take a look at any on with check marks where the two lines meet. Those are the residents we have had them pick to look at.
