i WAS TAUGT TO CROSS SECTION THE RESIDENT LEVEL QUALITY INDICATOR SUMMARY. We do this and almost always can pick who they will focus on. Just take a marker and mark down each collumn that is a sentinel event and any your QI indicator profile shows to be aproblem. Then mark the row with a residents name that show high totals. We usually mark any resident with a total of 5 or more. Then take a look at any on with check marks where the two lines meet. Those are the residents we have had them pick to look at. >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: QI Reports >Date: Sat, 3 Apr 2004 16:35:48 EST > >In a message dated 4/3/2004 9:38:26 AM Pacific Standard Time, >[EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: >Remember, the QI reports are intended to show surveyors where to look. >That's an interesting take on why the QI reports exist. _________________________________________________________________ Watch LIVE baseball games on your computer with MLB.TV, included with MSN Premium! http://join.msn.com/?page=features/mlb&pgmarket=en-us/go/onm00200439ave/ direct/01/ /---------------------------------------------------------- The Case Mix Discussion Group is a free service of the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators "Committed to the Assessment Professional" Be sure to visit the AANAC website.
