The 14 day PPS assessment is NOT a comprehensive assessment with RAPS unless it is combined with either an admission, annual or significant change assessment. NO PPS assessments are comprehensive unless combined with a comprehensive OBRA assessment. You do not need to automatically do RAPs with a 14 day PPS only assessment. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Abrahamson, Mark T" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, April 29, 2004 11:16 AM Subject: RE: missed annual assessments
We do the print out of MDS due. The problem apparently is the computer does not recognize a comprehensive assessment with RAPs unless it is an Admission or Sig. Change. The 14 Day PPS comprehensive with RAPS for our readmit did not reset the clock. I appreciate the discussion and comments I have received they have helped a lot. I use it as a "double check" to ensure I'm on track. /---------------------------------------------------------- The Case Mix Discussion Group is a free service of the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators "Committed to the Assessment Professional" Be sure to visit the AANAC website.
