You would have to do a Discharge Return Anticipated since they were out of the facilty at the hospital for more than 24 hours. Then do a return/readmission assessment to start the PPS cycle over again.
Remember, once out to the hospital for more than 24 hours, regardless if they are admitted you start the process over.
