My boyfriend (Marcus) just came back from his doctor's appointment with the results of his bmt after 3 months of 400mg of Gleevec, his wbc is at 5,000 from 128,000 when first diagnosed in September of 2004, his doctor said his bone marrow tests show 44% cml from 86%, what does this mean exactly, is this good, fair, we both don't understand and the doctor didn't explain it to him, can someone tell me, Marcus is very upset, he's angrier by the day and is so depressed he can barely get out of bed, I don't know what to do.
