Hi yes I do use oxcodone, without it my I have a lot of pain especially at night. I have been on it for quite some time and thankfully, I have not become addicted to it. Thankfully, I have a doctor that stays on top of the side effects I continue to have.

Does anyone take oxycodone for side effects of Gleevec/cml symptoms?
Some time ago, my family doctor prescribed oxycodone for mostly leg
pains. I realized that it is an addictive  narcotic, but decided to go
that route when pain was bad enough to hamper sleep, even prevent
it.I
found it works quite well, and can now get restful sleep. It was also
effective against restless leg syndrome, which I had found very
annoying.I dont regret my choice,as lesser pain killers were either
not
effective or available to me. This was a huge decision for me to
make, but thought I would post this in the hopes that it might help
anyone facing similar circumstances. Please dont think I am
complaining
about Gleevec. It is a Godsend after being on Interferon. I am glad it
is available to so many now.
