Ibuprofen worked for me when the pain was less intense,but the 
oncologist said not to use it ,that it interferes with gleevec. You 
are right, a person cannot "have a life" with intense pain.I think I 
was lucky to get a Dr. who would prescribe Oxycodone.Several other 
health workers have expressed disapproval at such a drug. I think if 
they had the pain they would sing a different tune. I would really 
try to get some relief for your daughter,based on my experience.
