Moe: I have been taking Gleevec for just over 3 years and I have this problem too. I can't remember simple words or mix them up. It is extremely annoying and like you said embaressing. My husband is used to it but I hate it. Sometimes I just talk slower waiting for the right word to come to me.

I end up playing the description game in order to remember the name of the item. It is so embarracing and annoying. I started on Gleevec in 2003 and now take 600 mg./day.
