Hi Livia, I was anemic for 5 months and the only thing that helped me was reducing my Gleevec. If you are in remission and your doctor is not a leukemia specialist you should probably try and find one who can help. As soon as I went from 600 mg.to 400mg. my red blood cell counts went up.
