thanks holly and everybody else who responded,
i just gave a call to my doctor to find out what is the cause of my anemia.  i will email what she said with my last blood results to a cml doctor, to get a second opinion. i am so glad there is a cml doctor who is able to do that for me. my primary onc. is not a cml specialist and there is none in kaiser (my insurance provider) around here. it is a shame.

remission and your doctor is not a leukemia specialist
you should probably try and find one who can help.  As
soon as I went from 600 mg.to 400mg. my red blood cell
counts went up. (and the nausea stopped).  Just a
thought.
