Hi Sue, I've had CML for 2 years, and I, too, am always cold. ( My bloodwork is normal also, so figure that out). I have come to accept it. One of the best things I have bought for myself is an electric throw. I call it the "magic blanket", and it is awesome! I know alot of people won't use electric blankets, etc because they fear cancers, etc.. but been there, done that.. I just want to be warm! It is one of the best things I have ever bought! It also will keep your energy bill down so you don't have to run the heater for the entire house.
Also, when I was first diagnosed, I had a lot of bone pain and heavy fatigue, and found it hard to go do the family grocery shopping with out getting totally worn out. I asked my ONC to sign an application for a "temporary" handicap placard. They last for 3 months and then expire. If you need another one, your Dr. needs to sign for one again. As time goes by, I'm sure your daughter's heavy fatigue will pass and then she will be able to do more. Good luck!
