Thanks for your note. We are in kind of a unique position. My daughter is a nurse and she has standing orders with her PCP that allows her to draw her blood anytime she suspects her counts are low. We go to Oregon for the major treatment, i.e. BMA, regular follow ups. We are blessed to have one of the best CML specialists in the country there.
Yes, Sandy, she has taken Gleevec since getting her WBC count down on hydroxyurea in May. She is on 600 mg.
