When we started the CML Meetup on the Meetup system the system was somewhat different that what is used now. In December the Meetup company started charging a monthly fee to the organizers of local meetings. Meetup is a company that conducts meetings on thousands of topics not just CML.

We do not promote the Meetups much any more because that makes it more difficult for local groups to get started.
