Pat,
I wonder too if you've considered just taking a "break" from the Gleevec for a month.  Then, you could start if up for a month, and by that time, perhaps BMS will be available.  Even if it is approved in June, it won't be available immediately.  It make take a short time to get it approved with insurances and you would be off meds too long risking losing any progress you've made.  I would look into the break, and then going back on at a minimal dose .  It's got to be better than nothing at all!
