Thanks for the info (both Anjana and Trey), I have been off line for a bit so sorry for the delayed response.
My sister was getting really bad pain (diagnosed as neuropathic pain) which was being treated with morphine and then anti-convulsant drugs with little effect. She has currently stopped taking all drugs. Sprycel side effects were the main worry but I believe she is now more comforatble with this likely path of treatment. I am not 100% sur eof her blood count details but will speak with her tomorrow.
