Hi Susan Thank you for the information I will go & check it out. I am not sure about my pain. I first got achy pain on Interferon. When I changed to Gleevec it improved. Slowly though it began to get worse & worse until I ended up on morpheine. Now that I have stopped the Gleevec I still have pain but it has improved. I still take 6-8 codeine a day & the more active I am the worse the pain gets ( as it always has ). My pain is hard to describe but it usually starts around my rib area & as it gets worse through the day it spreads through my whole body & then my skin will get so sensitive it hurts to be touched. Over the last 2 weeks it has also started in my joints & muscles. I may have to go to some type of specialist to have it investigated further.
I am glad to hear your symptons on dasatinib improved. This morning was day 4 for me & my headache was already much better than the previous days.
