Hi Lisa, Did you start taking morphine because of Gleevgec (IM) side effects? If so, what were they? Sorry, but I don't read the List as often as I should. I do take dasatinib (brand name Sprycel). I'm in a clinical trial and take 100 mg /day. I had the same morning headaches as you do but they went away after about 10 days and never returned. I do have some breathing problems -- hard to get a deep breath but that has practicaly disappeared, too.
As for information about the drug, there are several people on this List that know a lot more than I do. Or you can go to Jerry's list which is www.newcmldrug.com. On the Home Page there is a list on the left side and you'll see BMS discussion. If you click on that it will take you to the list of people taking Sprycel and you can ask questions there. Lots of information and you can write directly to Jerry Mayfield on that list with your questions. Also, Jerry wrote a long diary during his year on the first trial at MD Anderson.
