Mine are under 1000 so I will call my onc Mon and see what he wants to  do.
What did you think of the high basophils; the were 351; could this be cause  
by the high dose?

higher  Gleevec dose can decrease blood counts like the
neutrophils.  Most  doctors stop Gleevec if the Absolute Neutrophils
are below 1000.  And  then restart once the neutrophils are up.
Neutrophil cells are white cells  which fight infection and if you do
not have too many of them, then  infections cannot be fought.  So,
below 1000, most docs stop  Gleevec.
