Hi and thanks, that does comfort me a bit. When you say ANC do you mean Absolute Neutrophils? Mine doesn't have ANC on it. My cbc says the absolute Neutrophils are supposed to be between 1500-7800. Mine are 819. I am on 600 mgs of Gleevec daily and I think the high dose it what caused it; they have aways been good before. Thanks for you input; it was very much needed. Hi Jeanie. sorry your having a spot of trouble, well I hope this cheers you up just a wee bit. My ANC was down below 300 and they did not stop Nilotinib, my platelet count has been down to zero keep on trucking with Nilotinib, my Hgb has been down to 6500 and just keep putting in the 400mg a day. My ANC came up all by itself until Thursday it was 1300. My doctor right or wrong feels I have no choice and so does Norvitis. But I feel ok no major problems. When I first go into med day for infusions my blood pressure is about 145-150 but if I sit a few mins it will go back down to 115 or so..even 130. I suppose a lot of Docs would disagree with my doc, but I have survived over 32 years and maybe longer, that is being investigated now. I had to do a complete life's history and week by week history of the last 2.5 years or eversince I went on hydrea and then Gleevec and when all the infusions started.
