Greenie: Sorry to just now be getting back to you. My mother's sister-in-law passed away and I ended up taking her to Nashville last Wednesday for the funeral on Thursday. We decided to stop off in Paducah on our way back to Missouri and spend a night & go to the National Quilt Museum there on Friday morning before leaving for Missouri and it was around 6:30 by the time we actually made it home that evening and boy, were we tired. So, I spent most all day yesterday just laying around and reading. Had a good night sleep last night, so am feeling much better today. Long story short......I haven't been on-line at all since last Tuesday, (smile). I will be getting the requested material as soon as I can. This week is also VBS at our church and I am one of the "puppeteers" as well as kitchen duty......will be going on all week from 6 till 8 each evening. Always something to do around here lately it seems.
As for what you say about the soft water......not my problem here......the eye would just start bleeding all out of the blue.......I was sitting in the chair watching television when it happened most of the time. The first time, I was out shopping with my mom and my sister-in-law at K-mart. I haven't had one now for a couple of weeks, so hoping that was the end of them for a while. Greenie......you mentioned you take "3 pills" a day.......are they 100 mg. or more........mine comes in a 400mg. caplet that I break in two which helps tremendously with the nausea. I know one of my first doctors told me and my husband that the regular dosage was 600mgs when they first started out with Gleevec......I was thankful that I didn't have to start out like that....I've always taken the 400mgs. daily since starting out four and a half years ago.
