Hi Group, I'm on my 7th day of not taking any Gleevec. The last week or two have the been fun in nausea and anxiety. I saw my cancer Doctor here in Springfield yesterday and I told him what I was doing. Chicago doesn't know, I'm not calling them. I not to happy with that guy. In due time I'll let him know. But yesterday and today I'm haven't had any nausea thank you very much. I'm going to give it 2 more days then start taking my Gleevec again. My WBC did go up a little from 5.3 to 7.6 but the Doctor here said it's O. K. But only a few more days. This last Sunday was a bummer with the side effects. The Doctor called in for me to get some Zofran, but I have not had any nausea as I stated above. He also called in for some Wellbutrin XL but I'll pick that up tomorrow. I guess time will tell, have to wait and see. Will let you know how it goes. Dam, nausea sucks. Greenie Springfield, MO.
