If you have been diagnosed with depression, and your doctor currently treats your depression with a twice-daily regimen of WELLBUTRIN SR® (bupropion HCl) Sustained-Release Tablets, here's some great news — WELLBUTRIN XL contains the same active ingredient as WELLBUTRIN SR, but WELLBUTRIN XL is formulated in an extended-release, once-daily tablet. This means that with WELLBUTRIN XL, you can take one tablet in the morning, continue with your daily activities, and not worry about remembering to take a second dose. Only difference is taking it once a day as opposed to twice a day. I know the feeling of being tried on this then that, on and on...........but, a lot of times that's the course you have to take in order to find the right antidepressant/med for you. Take care!
