My hair was once described by a hairdresser as "glassy". It was absolutely
straight and shiny, and determined to remain straight.
After 7 years on Gleevec, I now have curly hair. Having kept the same
hairdresser, she has noticed this change. With lupus I lost tons of hair, but
it came back as the lupus was controlled. A doctor friend also suggested I take
a Biotin supplement each day. My nails and hair are as healthy now as they ever
were.
Where the curls came from, I cannot imagine. Certainly not hereditary.

  Sooooo, my
question is this, has anyone of you noticed a change in your hair,
too?
