Hello out there! My name is Beth and I am 48 and was diagnosed with CML on February 12th, 2010. I ws placed on Gleevec and tried for 2.5 months but was unable to tolerate the side effects so I have been on Tasigna for the last 6 weeks....LIver enzymas 3X normal and have become diabetic, needing to take insulin at night with the chemo...Have been on 200 Mill. a day, half a dose, and just moved up to 300mgs two days ago..lots of body pain and nausea onthe higher dose. I hope it calms down...I am here to share hope with others who are on this journey. It has been a scarry time. I know I am still adjusting.. Hope to hear from someone out there.
