Carolyn: I remembered a lady friend telling me about a man in their church who was taking Gleevec & after about a year, they had to take him off of it because it took all the calcium from his teeth and they were just crumbling. This was a few years ago that she told me this and I told her that I was told in the beginning to take extra Calcium vitamins because of the Gleevec. I was taking it already as I had had a complete Hysterectomy years ago and no hormones. So, I added calcium because of the possibility of osteoporosis later on.
I still think this problem of the "tingling" is just one more side effect, because it is so random. Today, I'm not having any problems. If not the Gleevec, then I will go with it being sinuses. LOL!!! I do hope your husband gets better. I know so many lately with lung cancer, it seems. They've come a long, long way, so I hope all goes well for him.
