Nick:

Some 34s have a hatch in the main salon; mine did not. As a result, it
could get somewhat unbearable down below on hot summer days -- the opening
ports made a huge difference. Something worth considering long-term. In the
short term, based on your style of window, I suggest replacing the gasket in
the frame if you can find something suitable, replace the plexi assuming it's
crazing, and screw the frames back onto the cabin with bed-it butyl. That
should stop the leaks and provide an inexpensive update.

        Good luck!

A vent in the main salon would be pretty nice… but we’re putting in USB
rechargeable clamp fans to move air through… cheaper and easier than figuring
out open-able windows or another vent.
