First, there is a substantial ladder on the end of Touche's finger pier. Second, look for any nearby boat with a sugar scoop stern and swim ladder. When I used to clean Touche' bottom myself, I always climber out using my next door neighbor's ladder and sugar scoop.
Third, it's cold in Louisiana. At least I think it is. 46F might not be cold to many of you but for this Southern boy, it's cold. -- Dennis C.
