Which examples use the pause methods?

It's not clear to me whether I call a function to pause, create a
PauseScene, or something with the functions below. (Sorry, still
learning how to use Cocos!!)

get_pause_scene()
set_pause_scene_generator(generator)
default_pause_scene()
