Well, there _are_ computer role playing games and computer interactive
fiction, too. I meant games like Ultima Underworld, LucasArts adventure
games, King of Dragon Pass, etc...

You mean MUDs, MUSHes and MOOs? Sometimes they use a dungeon master in a
game session, usually not.

I've often been thinking, when will someone make a game without all that
teenboy crap:
- not set in a crappy b-class scifi or fantasy world
- the purpose is not to save the (crappy b-class) world
- the bad guys are not just Walking Pure Evilness (tm)
- the bad guy (if there is one) has a reasonable motive for his/her doings
- the story has a point, like any good story

If they can make movies without Evil Wizards from Arwaqwaqqa, why can't they
make games without that kind of crap?
