BTW. Any reason why it is `==` ? Usually our approach is that we assume "good intentions" and do not limit our dependencies with < or `==` limits unless we have very good reason for it and document why we are doing it (and then let canary builds and our tests detect any incompatibilities and constrainst making sure things are working in reproducible way. This also allows us to automatically upgrade latest bugfixes (including security ones) automatically. I think we should change it to `>=1.15` (unless we have a very good reason not too or some good reasons why we should bump the min version to a higher one - I see opentelemetry-api is at 1.17.0 now and we are rather free to lower-bound limit it at the version that we thing has all we need). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
