I do have a followup question since this seems to be about whether data fits in a bucket or not. Why does only the coarseness matter? shouldn't this cause an issue if you have the same coarseness, but different starts and stops to the time. like a day aligned on PST and the other Day aligned on UTC -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
