@SEZ9 the second PR is up: #12858 adds the `install-plugin` helper (its own module, rewrites `config/plugin_config` to the requested connectors with section headers preserved, idempotent, then calls `bin/install-plugin.sh <version>`, with mocked pytest tests). One design choice to flag: connectors that weren't requested are disabled with a leading `#` instead of being deleted, so the full list stays in the file and a later call can enable a different connector. `install-plugin.sh` already skips `#` lines, so the result is the same.
