Well, I'm still waiting to hear about some of this. From Dion's review, he mentioned to me that he believes that the ASF license requires each project to include a copy of the license, with the project name, for each ASF licensed jar that it uses. Not just one blanket copy for all. This is caused by the decision of projects to change item #4, e.g.,: - http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/avalon-apps/licenses/license.html - http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/ant/licenses/license.html - http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs/jakarta-james/LICENSE.txt?rev=1.1&content-type =text/vnd.viewcvs-markup As for the rest, I don't have anything to add to what Greg Stein said. I've questions about how this is going to work. Since someone is starting this process, I am hoping that they've through through some of the answers.
