No. I'm Mr. Skeptic most times, but ...this doesn't make sense, because it just wouldn't be worth it to do a one-off of something this size - heck, a quarter this size! - to make a measly couple of thou' USD on a single [eBay] sale. Now, if someone was selling a hundred of the things (at a grand each), I'd laugh and go with the "hoax" thing. ...which places me in the "likely not a hoax" camp. ...ought to be an interesting thread though.
