The LC was found stripped, I thought it would make a good donor for my
first attempt. The classic mobo suffered a nasty battery leak and cant
be repaired

I've checked out your "poor mans gray scale project". Sourcing the parts
should be easier than finding a 9" vga. Would you think that the Classic
and SE share the same type of monitor?
I'm not hoping anything more than the existing analogue board can do by
trying the swap, just whether there are any obvious reasons why it wont
work.

Thanks Stuart.
