Hi all, After the unfortunate dis-coloring of my Mac TV's case using IPA I took the list's advise and tried Back to Black. After a few coats the streaks went away and it restored the case amazingly well. It worked so well on the place where the IPA hit it that I used it all over the case and it did a great job.
I think this should probably appear in the FAQ -- A Mac TV should not be cleaned with anything other than a damp rag or Back to Black unless you want to see it turn beige. On a side-note I am impressed with the Mac TV ... despite the fact that my SE/30 outran it when I benchmarked it (Symantic composite score), when running System 7.1 it performs much better than I expected it to (runs old multimedia games and old QT video quite well and of course business apps from that period are fast enough) and it makes a great television ...
