---- No. I had good luck using the 6.0.8 HDSC Setup formatter for these drives in the past, so I played it dumb and formatted it from the Utilities 1 disk. Other than that, try fooling with the terminating cap on the external drive's second connector. What happens when it's present.....what happens when it's not.... --- I left the termination resistors on the drive. With an external terminator, the drive won't be seen with or without the reistors. I haven't tried it without the resistors since it was nuked and paved though. === How different do things get when the SCSI cable is in the upper plug versus the lower plug..... JEff --- The SCSI cable is wired in to the MacBottom case. It's kind of a cheap setup, so there is only one SCSI outlet.
