sorry, i didn't check derf enough to know about the lots thing. if you
order from digikey, remember they also have the small metric drive
jumpers and some excellent fans, as well as several types of cable that
may be useful to you. digikey also has excellent capacitors for
switching supplies (it's worth getting the best ones, the price
difference is small and they should last longer than you'll care), it
might be wise to go ahead and replace at least the 220 uF cap that goes
with the diodes and any others that are showing signs of fading.
electrolytic caps have a nice feature by accident, the markings are on a
plastic band that's a type of heat shrink tubing, when electrolytics in
power supplies start to go they usually wind up running hotter and the
band will shrink more.

I have a nice example of this from a PC PS. About 1/2" of aluminum is
showing around the top of a 100 mfd cap. This supply was still working
when I dismantled it. From a 286, if I remember right.

normally the band covers the top around the edges, when it pulls back
it's a sure sign of a cap that's dying. it's really very handy. i've
seen some that had metal showing around the circumference by the time
they came in for repair. just a thought if you're ordering parts any
way.

I have a shopping list made out :) I spent last evening with Repair and
Upgrade Secrets in one hand and the DigiKey catalog in the other.

Thanks, H.
