I ran the same Google search, before I read far enough down in the
digest to see that everyone else had already provided the information
I found that way. Derf has a $100 minimum on items that are "Stock"
with a $50 minimum line item, $200 minimum otherwise. On the bright
side, their price on the MR824 is only $.45. :-) If we ganged up
we could get over 200 of them.

Which ones are the best? Is it a particular brand? Or can one tell
from the listed specifications?

Thank you for this detailed description. That's handy.

BTW, do the caps age much if they're sitting unused? Way back when,
Pre-Owned Electronics sold a repair kit for the Plus analog board.
It came with the caps and diodes and flyback transformer that Pina
recommends replacing. The only thing it really lacked was that
transistor he recommends switching. They wanted $45 - $50 for it,
but if you bought five or more the price was $25 each. So I bought
five of them and I still have two or three of them sitting in the
box. It occurs to me, that the caps may not be much good anymore if
the things have a shelf life.
