well, i found 2 40 meg but don't have an 80meg handy, one is a quantum
"prodrive lps", all it says is 5v/12v 6 watts.  i believe the 80 meg
were the same series, the data sheets may still be available at maxtor. 
the other one is a 40 meg conner cp3040a 12v@ 250 ma, 5v@ 275 ma. 
thanks for getting me to look, i didn't realize they were so low power,
it makes them much more viable for some project's i've thought of
before.  both drives have the apple label "hard disk 40sc".  i'm
surprised i've got one that's a conner, i think i've seen 7 or 8 that
were quantums.  the parts database only list the 40 mb and a 500m, i
don't think i've seen a 500.  i think more power is easily available
though, i've put in considerable larger drives that drew much more in
the past without problems.
