There's not too much wrong with that. I took an SE/30 apart completely 
and chucked the CRT just cause the screen was a bit dim and faded. The 
spare board has since save my accelerated SE/30 from extinction and the 
front plastic bezel replaced the one on my SE/00'd SE/30 as I broke the 
other one. I tend to prefer to keep one of each machine in peak 
condition rather than have tons of crap floating around. I have a pair 
of LCs but they are the only duplicate machines I have and one is going 
to hack city in the next week or so :).

I think, having just sold off a large portion of my own Mac stock to 
help pay for an upgrade to my G3, Dale has a good point, all I ask is 
that you keep 1 LCII, preferably the one in best condition, for 
posterity :).
