I myself was forced to do a serious cleanout 2 years back when my girlfriend and son moved in with me. I decided there and then to concentrate on my lifes passion, the compact Mac, and get rid of all the LC's, Quadra's, II's etc etc etc etc :)
I feel a lot better now, and when I moved home it was piss easy to move all those computers with handy handle... By the way, I never throw a compact out, even if it's dead as a doorknob, since I use most of them to create a giant Mac wall it does not matter if they work.
